'Ding Dong Dang Ding Dong' New Segments 'Mind Segment' and 'Word Play Segment' to Premiere on the 7th

EBS's representative infant and Children program 'Ding Dong Dang Ding Dong' will broadcast new segments 'Mind Segment' and 'Word Play Segment' starting September 7 to promote the emotional growth and language ability improvement of Children. These segments were designed to induce natural learning by unfolding various emotions and linguistic expressions that children experience in daily life into interesting stories.

What is covered in these episodes

'Mind Segment,' broadcast every Monday, is a time to directly face emotions that children often feel but find difficult to express, such as jealousy, anxiety, or unfairness, through characters. Rather than simply suppressing negative emotions, it focuses on helping children realize that every emotion has a reason and developing the strength to manage their own minds. Additionally, it sheds light on values such as 'kindness' from a new perspective, conveying the importance of the process of accurately understanding one's own heart.

'Word Play Segment,' broadcast every Wednesday, unfolds idioms that may be somewhat unfamiliar to Children through fairy tale stories. When the villain 'Keke' changes sentences in a fairy tale book into idioms, the protagonists Ding Ding, Dong Dong, Dang Dang, and Zia proceed by inferring the context to find the original meaning. Through this, children can improve their language comprehension through contextual understanding rather than simple memorization.
