The group Illit has once again proven its global influence by being selected as the singer for a Japanese TV animation theme song. According to their agency Belift Lab, Illit is scheduled to release 'Swingin’ Magic', the opening theme song for Season 2 of the animation 'Lulu ToriRi', on September 21. A Korean version of the song will also be released on the same day for domestic fans.

'Swingin’ Magic' is a song that captures the rhythmic groove and sophisticated sound characteristic of the New Jack Swing genre. Illit previously had a hit with 'Bubee', the opening theme song for Season 1, and has been tasked with singing for Season 2 in succession. The animation, produced by Studio Pierrot, is set to air for the first time this coming October.

Meanwhile, Illit will hold the encore tour 'ILLIT LIVE ‘PRESS START♥︎’ ENCORE' at the Inspire Arena in Incheon from October 17 to 18. Following this, they plan to meet local fans by continuing their performances at the Lala Arena Tokyo Bay in Chiba, Japan, from December 23 to 27.
