The two, who are alumni of Seoul Institute of the Arts, have been dating for approximately nine years and work together as creative partners.
It has been belatedly revealed that actor Koo Kyo-hwan and director Yi Okseop became a married couple after registering their marriage in 2022. On the 1st, their agency Namoo Actors announced that the two formed a bond as a married couple through marriage registration in 2022 and did not hold a separate wedding ceremony.
The two, who are alumni of Seoul Institute of the Arts, developed into lovers through the short film 'A Dangerous Woman' in 2013 and previously disclosed their dating relationship in 2020. Having become a legal married couple after approximately nine years of dating, the two have also worked together for a long time as creative colleagues, such as jointly operating the film production company 2X9HD.
Recently, they have continued their active collaboration, such as co-directing the film 'Your Country' and meeting as director and actor in 'Love Counselor' starring Lee Na-young. The agency added that the two will continue to greet the public with good works in their respective positions as each other's closest colleagues and family.
