Big data analysis specialist company Komwithus announced the results of the August 2026 Trot Influence Index (KSI). According to the analysis results, in the male category, Lee Chan-won maintained the top position for two consecutive months, following July, with 82.24 points, and in the female category, Song Ga-in reclaimed the number one spot after five months, recording 85.28 points.
This tally was calculated based on a total of 9,656,687 pieces of online data collected during the month of August and reports from 483 domestic and international media outlets. In the male category, Kim Yong-bin took second place (79.58 points) and Park Seo-jin took third place (76.40 points), while in the female category, Kim Da-hyun (83.24 points) and Jeon Yoo Jin (81.94 points) followed.
Komwithus plans to expand the number of analyzed artists from the current 40 to 70 starting this October to more broadly analyze the influence of the trot market.
