Los Angeles Officially Declares 'BTS Week' to Celebrate BTS Performances

The City of Los Angeles and Visit Los Angeles announced on September 3 that they have officially declared September 1 to 8 as 'BTS Week' to celebrate BTS's local performances. This measure was prepared to coincide with BTS performing a total of four times every weekend for two weeks starting from September 1.

Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass explained the significance of this event during the declaration ceremony held on August 31, emphasizing BTS's cultural achievements and their deep ties with Korea and the Korean community. To welcome BTS, city authorities lit the City Hall building in red on the 1st and introduced major downtown locations, such as SoFi Stadium and Beverly Boulevard, as spaces imbued with a special In-Yun with them.
