The 'Love Plus' street fundraising event, led by comedian Hwang Ki-soon and singer Park Sang-min, marked its 24th year this year. Held from August 27 to 30 around the Namdaemun and Wolmi-do areas, this event drew participation from citizens through talent donation performances by approximately 40 celebrities, including Gang-jin and Jinsung.

The 22.1 million won raised through this fundraising activity was delivered to the Community Chest of Korea. Combining voluntary performances by celebrities with on-site donations from citizens, this event has established itself as a representative citizen-participatory sharing activity that has continued for a long time.

The method of celebrities coming directly to the streets to breathe with the public and spread the culture of donation is significant in that it has lasted for over 20 years rather than remaining a one-time event. Attention is focused on whether such face-to-face fundraising activities will continue to play a role as a catalyst in encouraging voluntary donations from citizens in the future.
