'Love WiFi Palace' is a time-transcending romantic comedy about a webtoon artist who has never been in a relationship, who provides dating coaching to So-hyang, a court lady from the Joseon era 200 years ago who wishes to become a royal concubine.
Younghoon plays Tae-pung, a webtoon artist living in modern times, who is depicted as a character connected to So-hyang of the Joseon era through a mysterious mother-of-pearl lacquerware box inherited from his mother. Lee Ru-da portrays So-hyang, a court lady who discovers a mysterious Wi-Fi signal within the palace. Kim Dong-jun plays Lee Hwi, a Joseon king with a cold personality.
The poster features the palace's traditional multicolored patterns (dancheong) alongside N Seoul Tower, depicting So-hyang holding a smartphone, Tae-pung holding a tablet pen, and Lee Hwi wearing red royal robes. The work is based on the webtoon of the same name presented by creators Jo-a and Gin-yu in 2023. Jang Tae-yoo participated as a creator, Sa Seok-chun directed, and Kim Nam-hee wrote the screenplay. From the planning stage, the project was designed to expand into various formats, including films, short-form, and mid-form dramas.
