Actor Ji Chang Wook will meet viewers through 'Merry Berry Love', a global joint project between CJ ENM and Japan's Nippon TV. This work depicts a romance that unfolds when Yubin, a Korean space planner who lost everything and headed to Cha Rosa Island, meets Karin, a passionate Japanese strawberry farmer.
Ji Chang Wook will play the role of Yubin, a perfectionist, and is expected to simultaneously show urban charisma and a sweet side in the strawberry field. His counterpart, Shirahama Karin, will be played by Japanese actress Imada Mio, which has garnered significant interest since the production stage.
Ji Chang Wook expressed anticipation for the work, mentioning that the passionate aspect of the character resembles his actual self. CP Lee Sang Hwa stated that Ji Chang Wook's deep emotional expression will appear as a new charm in this work.
'Merry Berry Love' will be released simultaneously worldwide through Disney+ on October 7. In Japan, it is scheduled to be broadcast every Wednesday through Nippon TV.
