According to media reports, Director Na Hong-jin ranked 27th on the '30 Most Influential Genre Directors' list recently announced by The Hollywood Reporter. The outlet selected this ranking by comprehensively evaluating box office performance, cultural influence, and other factors, and world-renowned masters such as Guillermo del Toro and Sam Raimi were included alongside Director Na.
The Hollywood Reporter introduced Director Na as a master from Korea, highly evaluating the international fandom he built through 'The Chaser', 'The Yellow Sea', and 'The Wailing'.
