In the EBS 'Seo Jang-hoon's Millionaire Next Door' broadcast on Wednesday, September 23 at 9:55 PM, the ordinary but special happiness story of Park Chang-deok, who lives with six pets in a 7,000-pyeong garden, unfolds. Seo Jang-hoon and Jang Ye-won visit the home of Park Chang-deok and his wife, built on a sunny meadow, to look into their lives. Passing through the living room where warm sunlight pours in through large windows and the couple's individual spaces, an unexpected scene unfolds in the kitchen. In another space connected to the couple's kitchen, an 'animal-only kitchen' filled with fresh ingredients is located. The couple puts more effort into preparing meals for the six animals before their own meals. Park Chang-deok, who prepares animal meals twice a day at 6:00 AM and before sunset, shows an unstoppable love for animals, even tasting the food to check it. The customized, highly nutritious diets tailored to each animal's different dietary preferences, such as apples and carrots, silkworm pupae and boiled pork, or boiled pork and feed, also draw admiration.

Each of these animals receiving such extreme love hides a heartbreaking story. 'Ttangnok,' a Welsh Corgi who was rescued from a breeding farm and moved to an abandoned dog shelter, was extremely wary of people. However, if they are discarded for various reasons, they may live a very short life compared to their lifespan."

Among them, the 11-year-old miniature horse 'Dolkong' certainly draws the most attention. Dolkong also came from an animal experience center and had nowhere to go when it closed. Recalling the moment he welcomed Dolkong into the family, Park Chang-deok said, "The way its eyes looked at us was so pitiful that I couldn't help but bring it home." However, Dolkong had another pain. After bringing Dolkong home, Park Chang-deok found it strange that the bad breath was particularly severe, and a checkup revealed that five teeth were decayed and loose and had been left untreated. For Dolkong, who still cannot chew food properly because the painful teeth have not fully healed, Park Chang-deok meticulously cares for it by making special meals every day.
