'1.29 million subscriber YouTuber' Samangyeou has officially apologized for raising suspicions of undisclosed advertising against actress Han Ga-in and has moved to set the related Shorts video to private. On the 30th, Samangyeou posted an apology on their YouTube channel community, stating, "Regardless of the reason, I apologize to everyone who felt uncomfortable due to this video."
Previously, Samangyeou raised suspicions by mentioning a scene where Han Ga-in introduced an albumin product while addressing suspicions of exaggerated advertising for the product. In response, Han Ga-in directly refuted the claims, stating, "It is a product I purchased myself without any compensation or sponsorship," and released payment records showing a purchase of 616,000 won on July 23, 2024.
Samangyeou reflected, saying, "Even though Han Ga-in apologized, I cut out content that was not the essence and made it into a Shorts, which caused misunderstanding," adding, "As a channel that should focus on the essence, it was an immature and rash judgment." They continued, "I will not forget the weight of the microphone you have handed me," promising to prevent recurrence.
