During the second episode of MBC drama Liar broadcast on the 31st, Kang Ji-seon was identified as the liar in a polygraph test involving Min Jun-ho. While the police decided not to transfer the case against Min Jun-ho due to a lack of evidence, the drama's first-week nationwide viewership rating reached 1.9%.
A twist unfolded during the second episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar' broadcast on the 31st, when Kang Ji-seon (Seo Hyun-jin) was identified as the person who lied during a polygraph investigation. Police officer Lee Hwa-yeong (Ok Ja-yeon) told Kang Ji-seon, "Between you and Min Jun-ho, you are the one who lied." It was further revealed that Kang Ji-seon had been involved in a similar incident in the past.
During the episode, Min Jun-ho (Yoo Yeon-seok) and Kang Ji-seon provided conflicting statements regarding the same incident. Min Jun-ho claimed the act was not forced, while Kang Ji-seon maintained the position that it was forced. As there was no evidence beyond the statements of the two individuals, the police decided not to transfer the case against Min Jun-ho. Recalling that Min Jun-ho had cleaned the wine glasses thoroughly on the day of the incident, Kang Ji-seon began to suspect the possible use of drugs, and it was also revealed that Min Jun-ho's wife had died from a drug overdose in the past.
'Liar' recorded a first-week viewership rating of 1.9% nationwide according to Nielsen Korea, failing to exceed the 2% mark. This is interpreted as being influenced by the popularity of the drama broadcasting in the same time slot. 'Liar' airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM.
