The film ‘The Assassin(s)’ continues its box office momentum in theaters during the Chuseok holiday period.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network, ‘The Assassin(s)’ drew 432,341 viewers on September 26, recording a cumulative audience of 1,305,666.
This work has held the number one spot in the overall box office for 4 consecutive days, and surpassed 1 million cumulative viewers on the morning of its 4th day of release.
As of 7:00 AM on September 27, it also took the number one spot in the overall reservation rate, maintaining its top position for 8 consecutive days.
Reactions from directors have also followed. Director Kim Sung-soo, who directed ‘12.12: The Day’, said, “It is a film with overwhelming completeness. Intense immersion! Outstanding actors!
