THE SHILLA SEOUL has launched 'Little Ladies and Gentlemen,' a package for child customers to experience afternoon tea culture and learn table manners. A key feature is that it is composed of kid-only classes and afternoon tea sets for parents, allowing families to spend time in their own respective ways.

This package was prepared amidst the trend of strengthening edutainment content following the renewal of the Kids Lounge last July. Taking the concept of learning one's first table manners at a hotel, it is designed for children to encounter afternoon tea culture and experience table setting and tea time etiquette. This also reflects the trend in the hotel industry of expanding experiential programs beyond simple accommodations.

The classes are operated at the Kids Lounge on the 5th floor of THE SHILLA SEOUL with a maximum capacity of 6 people per session. An instructor from the professional manners education institution All That Manners Research Institute will lead the classes, with Session 1 for children aged 6–8 and Session 2 for children aged 8–12. While the children participate in the class, parents can enjoy afternoon tea at The Library on the 1st floor of THE SHILLA SEOUL.

The program begins with an introduction to afternoon tea culture, followed by experiencing table setting, learning napkin usage, how to hold a teacup, and dessert and conversation etiquette. Afterward, children practice by enjoying a kid-specific afternoon tea themselves, and upon completion, a commemorative photo and a certificate are provided. Snap photography is also conducted during the class, so at checkout, guests can receive a photo frame containing printed photos and digital photo files. The package will operate until this November.
