TREASURE to release new electronic hip-hop single SHOCK today

TREASURE will release the digital single 'SHOCK' at 6:00 PM on the 2nd, marking their first release since the June launch of their fourth mini-album 'NEW WAV'. The track features production by BIGTONE and P.K, incorporating lyrics from 1TYM's 'Hot'.

The group TREASURE is returning with music that further strengthens their hip-hop colors through the new song 'SHOCK'. According to their agency, TREASURE will release the digital single 'SHOCK' via various music streaming sites at 6:00 PM on the 2nd.

This new song is the first release since their fourth mini-album 'NEW WAV' in June, and is an electronic hip-hop track containing the team's unique, intense energy. Based on fast-paced beats and synthesizer sounds, the track adds TREASURE's dynamic charm to the YG Entertainment hip-hop style.

The song is characterized by the members' sharp rapping and a repetitive chorus, and includes lyrics that utilize 1TYM's 'Hot'. The production involved YG Entertainment producers BIGTONE and P.K, as well as international songwriters and composers who participated in the mini-album 'NEW WAV'.

The music video, released alongside the song, creates an intense atmosphere by adding special effects such as lightning and flames to dark-colored structures. The intensity of the performance is heightened through choreography that expresses the meaning of the lyrics through movement, point moves that personify shock, and group dance sequences during the bridge section.

Regarding this promotion, TREASURE stated, "With 'SHOCK', we will properly show our momentum," and added, "Just like the song title, we want to deliver a positive shock to our fans." They continued, "We have prepared this activity very hard to repay the great love fans sent us through our previous activities and fan concert tour. Let's fill the time together with TREASURE until the end of 2026."
