2.2 Million Subscriber YouTuber Uju Hama Suspends Activities Due to Battle with 'Gluteal Amnesia'

Popular gaming YouTuber Uju Hama, who has 2.2 million subscribers, has announced a suspension of activities due to deteriorating health caused by 'Gluteal Amnesia.'

On the 24th, Uju Hama shared the situation through their YouTube channel, stating, "Because my nerves are being pressed, it hurts and I cannot sit down," adding, "I tried to recover secretly and come back, but it seems it will take more time."

'Gluteal Amnesia' is a musculoskeletal abnormality that commonly occurs in modern people who sit for long periods. It is a condition where continuous pressure on the gluteal muscles desensitizes the signal transmission system between the brain and the muscles, causing the gluteus maximus to fail to function properly.

Experts advise that if left untreated, there is a high possibility it could lead to herniated discs or knee arthritis, and suggest preventive activities such as standing up to stretch periodically or walking while engaging the gluteal muscles.
