Woongsang Community Welfare Center Conducts Youth Sharing Leadership Training at Daeunsan Natural Recreation Forest

Woongsang Community Welfare Center, in cooperation with Daeunsan Natural Recreation Forest, operated a sharing leadership program for local youth. This event was organized to allow youth to cultivate a sense of community and learn the value of sharing within nature.

Participating youth learned the qualities required of a leader through various experiential activities utilizing the environment of the recreation forest. An official from the welfare center stated, “We hope this program serves as an opportunity for the youth to consider their roles within the community and care for others.”

In a situation where youth welfare infrastructure within the local community is insufficient, experiential education linked with nature is expected to provide practical help for emotional cultivation and social development. In the future, the welfare center plans to continuously expand such programs that link with local resources.
