Past remarks by Won Hyeon-ju regarding her husband Yang Hong-won have resurfaced following allegations that he accompanied another woman to a motel on the 23rd. Conversations shared by Won Hyeon-ju with rapper Yang Hong-won prior to their marriage are being revisited after Yang became embroiled in infidelity allegations just five days after his wedding.

On the 5th of last month, a video featuring both Yang Hong-won and Won Hyeon-ju was released on the YouTube channel 'Egen Man Swings'.

The two discussed their eight-year relationship and marriage, reflecting on their dating years just before the wedding.

At the time, Won Hyeon-ju remarked that Yang Hong-won, her then-boyfriend, was a different person after becoming her husband, stating, "He is a different person. It's like, 'Who are you?'"

She continued, "As a boyfriend, he is not great," to which Yang Hong-won responded, "I really am not great."

Yang Hong-won also told Won Hyeon-ju, "Tell them. Tell girls to avoid dating rappers if possible," prompting Won Hyeon-ju to say, "Please avoid dating rappers if possible!"

Swings added a joke to the exchange, calling it "Believe and avoid rappers."

Yang Hong-won also commented on the idea that one must change a partner to date a rapper.

"If you're going to catch a rapper and properly make them yours, go ahead," he said, adding, "You have to show a rapper that the world they think they know is not everything."

These remarks are drawing renewed attention as infidelity allegations surfaced immediately following the wedding.

On the 23rd, an individual identified as "A," who claims to be an acquaintance of Yang Hong-won, released messages and call recordings alleging that Yang accompanied another woman to a motel ahead of the wedding.

His agency, AP Alchemy, admitted that Yang Hong-won accompanied the woman to the motel but denied the allegations of infidelity.

The agency stated that Yang Hong-won, in a heavily intoxicated state, headed to a motel to find a place to sleep, entered the room, and fell asleep immediately, asserting that no romantic or physical intimacy occurred between the two.

Furthermore, the agency claimed that "A" attempted to blackmail Yang Hong-won and the woman by demanding money.

Yang Hong-won and the woman in question have filed complaints against "A" for extortion, violations of the Stalking Punishment Act, and defamation by spreading false information.

Following the controversy, it has been reported that Yang Hong-won and Won Hyeon-ju have unfollowed each other on social media.

The couple dated for approximately eight years starting in 2017 and welcomed a daughter in November 2024.

They held their wedding on the 18th.
