This news was announced by the concert organizer Private Curve. The duo, consisting of guitarists Ignacio Correa and Andres Reyero, is drawing anticipation from music fans by performing traditional South American rhythms in a modern style.
Batimento Duo has been recognized for its musicality by reinterpreting unique traditional music genres such as tango, milonga, and waltz from the Río de la Plata region. In particular, their first album, 'Marginal', was released in Uruguay in 2022 and garnered attention by being nominated for Best Tango Album at the 21st Graffiti Awards.
For this Seoul performance, special collaborations with bandoneon player Koh Sangji and Japanese bassist Tanaka SHIN JI are scheduled. Their participation is expected to add special depth and richness to the performance.
