The group CLOSE YOUR EYES (Jeon Min-uk, Ma Jingxiang, Jang Yeo-jun, Kim Seong-min, Song Seung-ho, KENSHIN, Seo Gyeong-bae) is ramping up the comeback fever ahead of their new album release on the 30th. According to their agency, they will pre-release 'Open Your Eyes', the first track of their fourth mini-album '256th Note', on August 18 at 6 PM.
This new song is a track that reinterprets the free improvisation of jazz into the hip-hop and R&B genres. It features a piano arpeggio loop and a fast-tempo drum beat, and pianist Yohan Kim and jazz saxophonist Jacob Scesney participated in the performance. Members Jeon Min-uk and KENSHIN are credited with writing the lyrics.
According to media reports, CLOSE YOUR EYES previously raised expectations by revealing a drum playing scene in a city at night through a music video teaser. They are scheduled to showcase the stage for the new song for the first time at the 'TMA' held on the 19th.
The album title '256th Note' is inspired by the 256th note, carrying the meaning of recording fleeting emotions through music. All songs from the album will be released on August 30 at 6 PM, and they plan to communicate with fans through an online/offline comeback live at 8 PM on the same day.
