Channel A's "Detectives: The Trade Secret" will broadcast the second installment of a case involving a client seeking the biological daughter of an 80-year-old stepmother suffering from severe dementia.
The second part of a search for the biological daughter of an 80-year-old stepmother suffering from severe dementia will air on Channel A at 10 PM on the 9th. The investigation follows a client's attempt to find the stepmother's legal family to delegate funeral authority after decades of living with the client's father.
Channel A's "Detectives: The Trade Secret" will broadcast the second story of a request to find the biological daughter of an 80-year-old stepmother suffering from severe dementia on the 9th at 10 PM. The client requested help to find the legal family of the stepmother, who became part of the family about 40 years ago, in order to delegate funeral authority and allow the stepmother to meet her biological daughter. Because the stepmother lived with the client's father for decades without divorcing her legal husband, the client is currently in a situation where they cannot conduct the funeral upon her death.
Noting that the legal husband was from Hwanghae Province, the detective duo investigated displaced persons organizations but achieved no results. Subsequently, they tracked the biological daughter, who possesses a rare name, and discovered a strong lead in a hiking club. After identifying the residential area through club information and conducting inquiries, they eventually face the biological daughter. Upon hearing that her mother is looking for her, the daughter draws a line, asking, "Why is the person who abandoned me when I was three years old looking for me now?" Observing this, Defconn remarked, "It seems like there is deep-seated resentment," while Yoo In-na said, "It seems like there has been a knot in her heart her whole life."
Creator Tongdak Cheonsa will appear as a one-day detective in this broadcast. Having recently succeeded in losing 22kg, Tongdak Cheonsa refers to herself as a "look-alike of IVE's LIZ" and bickers with Defconn, while Kim Poong jokes that her old nickname was "Tonggeumbo." Tongdak Cheonsa revealed that she has been dating a boyfriend six years younger for five years, noting they met through SNS messages and sharing an anecdote about receiving handmade desserts as gifts.
