EXO members Chen, Baekhyun, and Xiumin have filed an injunction to suspend the validity of their exclusive contract against their agency, INB100. The 50th Civil Division of the Seoul Central District Court is scheduled to hold a hearing for the case on September 7.
Baekhyun established the independent label INB100 in January 2024, after which Chen and Xiumin joined. The label was previously incorporated into One Hundred, which is led by Chairman Cha Ga Won. The Chen Baek Xi side requested a response from One Hundred last April regarding contract violations, such as unpaid settlements, but upon failing to receive a reply, they notified the termination of the exclusive contract and entered legal proceedings.
Meanwhile, Chairman Cha Ga Won was indicted and detained last August on charges of fraud amounting to tens of billions of won and is facing trial in October. Previously, in June 2023, Chen Baek Xi reached a mutual agreement after conflicts with their former agency SM Entertainment over settlement issues, but they have now faced legal disputes once again following the establishment of Baekhyun's independent label.
