Actor Jung Il-woo Continues 18 Years of Philanthropy... Donates Emergency Relief Funds for Nepal Floods

Actor Jung Il-woo recently delivered emergency relief funds through the international relief and development NGO Good Neighbors to help residents and children in areas affected by major flooding in Nepal. These funds will be used for recovery efforts and supporting displaced persons in major flood-stricken areas such as Nuwakot and Gorkha. Through this donation, Jung Il-woo has been added to 'The Neighbors Club,' a group of high-value donors for Good Neighbors.

Jung Il-woo's philanthropic activities have been consistently carried out for over 18 years since the early stages of his debut. Starting with briquette donation volunteering in 2008, he has extended a helping hand both domestically and internationally, including sponsoring children with disabilities in New York, USA, in 2012, and donating 30 million won during the Sewol Ferry tragedy in 2014. Since then, he has practiced sharing during every social disaster, such as donating 20 million won to a senior nursing center in 2017, providing 20 million won in support for the Gangwon wildfires in 2019, and donating 10 million won from bazaar proceeds in 2024.

He is also active in overseas volunteer work. In January 2025, he participated in educational volunteering and relief supply support in Jakarta, Indonesia, and in February of the same year, he conducted a health and hygiene improvement project in Vietnam. Meanwhile, Jung Il-woo recently announced his future activities after moving to Galaxy Corporation.
