The sound and audiovisual platform WeSA has been invited to conduct a showcase at 'FOG Festival 2026,' which will be held in Basel, Switzerland, from September 17 to 20. This festival, which deals with experimental electronic music and audiovisual performances, will take place in major cultural spaces such as Kaserne Basel and Tanzhaus Basel.
Domestic artists, including Artistic Director Ga Jae-bal, Haim, WYXX, and Motoko·Ha Sang-cheol, will participate in this showcase. At Tanzhaus Basel, video works such as Haim's 'flo Form / flo Wall', WYXX's 'Nullpointer Exception', and Motoko·Ha Sang-cheol's 'The Image of Happiness: The First Scene' will be screened over the two days of September 18 and 19. On September 18, Ga Jae-bal's live performance 'UN/Readable Sound' will take the stage.
Through this participation, WeSA plans to introduce Korea's technology-based artistic works to the local European scene and expand future co-production and distribution channels with overseas organizers. Artistic Director Ga Jae-bal stated that he hopes this invitation will serve as an opportunity to directly connect the works of Korean artists with the European field. This event is being conducted with the support of the Korea Arts Management Service Art Korea Lab.
