Razer Unveils 'Razer Clio X', a Wireless Speaker Designed for Gaming Chairs

Global gaming brand Razer has announced the 'Razer Clio X', a wireless speaker head cushion that delivers three-dimensional sound even without a headset. This new product was first showcased at PAX West 2026 and features a unique form factor designed to be attached to a gaming chair.

The device is equipped with a 38mm full-range driver and a 55mm passive radiator to enhance rear sound. In particular, it is designed to apply THX spatial audio technology so that users can feel a realistic sense of space when playing games or watching movies without wearing a headset. Another feature is that it can be expanded into rear surround channels by linking with existing speaker systems.

Industry analysts view this as a product targeting the demand of gamers who wish to reduce the fatigue caused by wearing headsets for long periods. Razer explained, “We have minimized latency with HyperSpeed 2.4GHz wireless technology, and it can be stably fixed to various high-back chairs through an adjustable strap.”

Power is supplied via a USB Type-C cable built into the rear pouch from a power bank, and it can be used for up to 40 hours on a full charge. Distribution in Korea will be handled by S-Rise.
