The fashion magazine Harper's BAZAAR Korea released its October issue pictorial through its official social media on September 17. Set against the backdrop of an office piled with documents, this pictorial features Ryu Seung Ryong, Oh Jung Se, Kim Mu-yeol, and Lee Joon, who portrayed different personalities of office life. In particular, Ryu Seung Ryong's passionate performance while holding a telephone caught the eye.
They are all members of Prain TPC and colleagues who have shared the same "rice pot" (worked together) for a long time. Based on Ryu Seung Ryong, the connection with the three actors has lasted from as short as 10 years to as long as nearly 20 years. Ryu Seung Ryong expressed his affection, stating, “It is not just 'sharing a rice pot' in words, but a relationship like a family with history,” and adding, “Although each of us had different sprouting speeds and fruit-bearing speeds, it feels like evidence that we have all faithfully followed our own respective steps.”
The bond between Ryu Seung Ryong and the actors deepened through their work. Ryu Seung Ryong first worked with Kim Mu-yeol in his first TV drama lead role, 'Byeolsungeom', and reunited in the movie 'War of the Arrows'. With Oh Jung Se, they attended audition halls together since their rookie days and appeared together in the movies 'Secret' and 'Bestseller'. In the past, a challenge video where Ryu Seung Ryong reenacted Oh Jung Se singing 'I Like You' during the movie 'Wild Sing' became a hot topic. Lee Joon formed a connection with his current agency about 10 years ago through Ryu Seung Ryong's recommendation and acted together in the movie 'The Piper'.
Currently, the four actors are actively working in their respective fields. Last year, Ryu Seung Ryong won the Grand Prize at the Baeksang Arts Awards for the JTBC drama 'The Dream Life of Mr. Kim'. Oh Jung Se has been recognized for his acting skills through the character Choi Seong-gon in 'Wild Sing' and the JTBC drama 'We Are All Trying Here'. Kim Mu-yeol held his first fan meeting since his debut alongside the global success of the Netflix series 'Teach You a Lesson', and Lee Joon is receiving public love for his diligent appearance in variety programs such as KBS 2TV's '2 Days and 1 Night' and 'Workman'.
