According to media reports, 'Gyeongsoju 51 Degrees' from the liquor brand 'Gyeong,' in which Sung Si-kyung directly participated in the development, has surpassed 2,000 purchase reviews on its official mall approximately two weeks after its launch on September 1st. This product is a premium distilled soju that uses 100% domestic rice as its raw material and undergoes a double atmospheric distillation process to bring out the natural flavor of the rice.
Consumers are citing its clean finish, subtle rice aroma, and natural sweetness as strengths, despite the high alcohol content. In particular, evaluations continue to suggest that it pairs excellently with greasy foods, receiving positive reactions in terms of pairing with various menus.
Prior to its launch, the product's quality was recognized by winning a silver grade with a score of 91 at the international spirits competition IWSC 2026, and also winning a silver medal at SFWSC 2026. Meanwhile, the brand 'Gyeong' is scheduled to newly introduce the 'Gyeong Hon-don-ju Gift Set,' which combines the Gyeong Takju Mix Pack and Gyeongsoju 51 Degrees, on September 15th.
