Thailand's DITP to support Thai content companies at ACFM 2026
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of Thailand will support Thai film and content companies at the Asia Contents & Film Market (ACFM) 2026 in Busan. Thailand has been selected as the first Country of Honor at this year's ACFM.
The Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP) of the Ministry of Commerce of Thailand announced that it will support the participation of Thai film and content companies in the Asia Contents & Film Market (ACFM) 2026, which will be held in Busan from October 10 to 13. This year, Thailand has been selected as the first Country of Honor at ACFM.
Through this participation, DITP plans to introduce Thai films, series, animation, and digital content to the international stage and expand the foundation for cooperation with overseas industries. The Thai Night Busan 2026 event, which had been suspended since 2020 due to COVID-19, will also be held again. As Busan has served as a crossroads for the Asian content business, the industry views this as an opportunity for Thai content companies to expand their touchpoints with overseas buyers.
Thai Night Busan 2026 will be held on October 11 at Park Hyatt Busan. Princess Ubolratana Rajakanya Sirivadhana Barnavadi of Thailand will attend the event and preside over the opening ceremony. DITP and the Department of Cultural Promotion of Thailand will jointly operate the Thailand Pavilion at ACFM 2026 and support business matching for 20 Thai companies. The main topics of discussion will include co-production discussions, sales, licensing, and the expansion of entry into overseas markets.
