Utopian Studio to Reveal 5 New Works in 2027 and Develop 25 Projects

Utopian Studio is full-scale expanding its global content business by combining AI technology with traditional filmmaking methods. Currently, it is developing a total of 25 film and TV series projects in collaboration with production companies around the world, including Korea, and plans to present five works to the global market in 2027.

The works scheduled for release in 2027 are the feature films ‘Half Moon’, ‘Cortis’, and ‘The Most Serious Fart’, and the series ‘Space Nation’ and ‘Journey to the West: The Lost 500 Years’. In particular, ‘Half Moon’, a co-production between Korea and Germany, is directed by Director Yang Hyo-ju and began filming in Germany in August 2026. In addition, the studio is flexibly utilizing its independently developed cinematic storytelling AI system, ‘PAI’, according to the characteristics of each project.

Utopian Studio, headquartered in Mountain View, California, USA, is led by CEO Cecilia Shen and CTO Jie Yang, and its corporate value is estimated at approximately $1 billion. The studio stated that it plans to build various global entertainment IPs through a production method that determines the scope of AI utilization under the leadership of creators.
