A sincere message from singer Bbaek Ga: “Never give up and follow your own path until the end”

In the program for youth and young adults who have stepped outside the fence of school to find their own paths, Bbaek Ga of Koyote appears to look back on his life and share stories of overcoming trial and error and difficult moments encountered while searching for his dreams.

In particular, this lecture candidly shares the process from loving dance since childhood and dreaming of becoming a dancer to becoming a member of Koyote, his experience of failing in businesses attempted to prepare for an uncertain future, and his story during his battle with a brain tumor.

Challenges started out of anxiety, ultimately the path I must take

In Part 1, Bbaek Ga tells the story of his life, from his childhood loving dance to his activities as a dancer and a member of Koyote.

Having had his dance skills recognized, he began working as a backup dancer before joining as a rapper for Koyote, and he honestly confesses the anxiety and worries he felt while continuing his activities for over 20 years. He candidly shares his experience of failing in various businesses started to prepare for an uncertain future and even being defrauded by a manager, emphasizing that it is ultimately important to believe in the work one is good at and likes, and to walk one's own path until the end.

Along with his life motto, the message “Let’s never give up,” he cheers on young people to move forward to the end without giving up despite any difficulties.

The sudden brain tumor, and the time of rising again

In Part 2, Bbaek Ga candidly confesses his experience of battling a brain tumor.

Having exercised since childhood and being confident in his health, Bbaek Ga one day experienced abnormal symptoms where his body suddenly lost strength, and subsequently discovered a brain tumor at the hospital.

He sincerely conveys the fear he felt ahead of the sudden surgery and the emotions he experienced while informing his family of the illness. In particular, it is said that the story with his mother during the process of informing his family after the brain tumor diagnosis brought tears to the eyes of all the staff at the recording site.

Bbaek Ga, who made steady efforts for recovery including speech correction even after surgery, advises not to handle difficult moments alone but to honestly ask those around him for help. He continues with the message “Do not give up on anything,” urging young people not to give up on their lives to the end despite any difficulties.

Bbaek Ga's story of overcoming the brain tumor battle and returning to the stage can be met in "Special Lecture: To the Youth," which broadcasts on September 20, 2026, at 11:55 AM.
