Forestella's Cho Min Gyu Performs All Songs from New Album Live for the First Time at Solo Concert

Cho Min Gyu of the crossover group Forestella held his solo concert 'MONO DRAMA 2026 : Sweet Escape' over two days on August 19 and 20 at the Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul. This performance is the third season of Cho Min Gyu's 'MONO DRAMA' series, adding significance as it is his first solo stage in one year and six months. According to media reports, the performance recorded a sell-out for all seats, proving Cho Min Gyu's ticket power.

In this concert, Cho Min Gyu composed a setlist spanning diverse genres such as jazz, pop, and ballads, creating contrasting atmospheres in Part 1 and Part 2. In particular, he drew enthusiastic responses from the audience by live-performing all the songs from his new album 'Sweet Escape', which was released on August 10, for the first time. Additionally, he presented new cover song stages that had not been shown before, such as Rita LEE's 'Lanca Perfume' and Florence + The Machine's 'Everybody Scream'.

During the performance, Cho Min Gyu shared his thoughts on the album, saying, "I made it with the hope that my music would be a resting place where you can leave and a place you want to travel to," and "I hope many people gain strength and return home." He continued with a commitment, "I will always come to you with the best version of myself so that the time you spent coming to meet me is not wasted."

Finally, Cho Min Gyu greeted the audience, saying, "Just as you have cherished my music and stages for a long time, I will also carefully protect your memories," and "Thank you so much for joining this sweet escape."
