Dongducheon City to Hold 19th Korea-US Friendship Festival at Bosan-dong Korea-US Friendship Plaza on the 19th

Dongducheon City will host the 19th Korea-US Friendship Festival in the area around the Korea-US Friendship Plaza in Bosan-dong from 3 PM to 9 PM on the 19th. This event is jointly hosted by Dongducheon City and the Tourism Special Zone Merchants Association, and is sponsored by Gyeonggi-do and the Dongducheon City Council, to be organized as a venue for cultural exchange where local residents, USFK personnel and their families, and tourists can mingle together.

On the day of the event, various pre-show performances such as Taekwondo demonstrations, belly dance, and rhythm drum are scheduled to take place. On the main stage that follows, singer Bada, hip-hop artist Superbee, trot singers Kang Seol-min, Park Han-na & Miguel, etc., will appear to heighten the festival atmosphere. In addition to this, various activities such as workshop experiences, screen shooting, and Life Four Cuts will be available, along with food booths where you can taste food from various countries around the world.

Dongducheon Mayor Park Hyung-deok stated that he hopes this festival will be a place of harmony where local merchants, residents, and USFK personnel communicate.
