Based on cases of middle-aged individuals he has met in his clinic over 30 years, Professor Han Chang-soo explains that the depression, lethargy, and burnout experienced in one's fifties are not issues of willpower, but the result of a combination of brain changes and environmental factors. In particular, he plans to present practical solutions that combine Eastern and Western philosophy with the latest neuroscience for middle-aged people experiencing the 'triple wave' of changes in workplace status, children's independence, and supporting elderly parents.

The lecture consists of a total of 8 sessions, covering various concerns faced by middle-aged people, from workplace identity to economic anxiety, family relationships, and the pain of loss.
