Taekwang Industrial sponsored the '2026 Life and Sharing Concert' at the Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul on the 17th to fund academic pursuits for children in group homes and university students. The company has supported the Happy Tree Children's Choir since 2016 and has contributed to 'Stepping Stone Seed Account' savings for independence since 2013.

Taekwang Industrial announced on the 19th that it sponsored the '2026 Life and Sharing Concert,' a charity concert to support the academic pursuits of children in group homes and university students who have left them. The performance was held on the 17th at the Lotte Concert Hall in Songpa-gu, Seoul.

The stage featured the Happy Tree Children's Choir, composed of children residing in child protection facilities in the Seoul and Gyeonggi regions, alongside the Happy Tree Philharmonic Orchestra and Choir led by conductor Cho Ik-hyeon. Soprano Kim Young-mi, baritone Yeom Gyeong-muk, and violinist Song Ji-won also performed as collaborators.

The Happy Tree Children's Choir was founded in 2009 and is operated by the non-profit organization Haengboknamu Plus. Haengboknamu Plus provides annual scholarships to children in child protection facilities and university students from those facilities using funds raised through charity performances.

Taekwang Industrial has sponsored the choir's activities since 2016, with sponsorship funds used for the living and educational support of group home children and scholarships for university students. Separately, since 2013, the company and its employees have been donating to installment savings accounts held in the names of group home children through the 'Stepping Stone Seed Account' project to support their independence and tuition after leaving the facilities.

By operating both concert sponsorship and savings account support, the company aims to extend support for children's living and education through to the stage of independence. “We hope this serves as an opportunity for group home children to explore career paths and broaden their horizons through artistic experiences,” a Taekwang Industrial official said. “We will continue our support activities for the growth and independence of group home children in the future.”
