The film 'The Odyssey' has maintained its top position at the box office for 41 consecutive days, surpassing 10.83 million cumulative viewers.
According to the Korean Film Council's integrated computer network for movie theater admission, as of September 14, the movie 'The Odyssey' maintained its No. 1 position at the box office, drawing 51,637 daily viewers. The cumulative number of viewers was recorded at 10,834,339.
While the work recorded its lowest daily figure since its release as the weekday audience decreased to the 50,000 range, it is firmly holding its top position amidst its long-term success. Meanwhile, on the same day, 'Obsession' recorded 500,507 cumulative viewers, continuing its streak as the No. 1 hit among films rated for adults, and 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is approaching the 9 million mark with 8,938,826 cumulative viewers.
Among Korean films, 'Hope' rose to 5th place with 4,570,091 cumulative viewers, while 'The Journey to Gyeong-ju' and 'Portrait of a Family' recorded 335,379 and 98,689 cumulative viewers, respectively.
