Tsunade Sensei, known as the calligraphy teacher to RESCENE member MINAMI, is set to meet South Korean fans. She announced the news of a special appreciation event on her social media, where she also posted a video of herself practicing calligraphy.
“I am holding a special appreciation event because I want to personally express my gratitude to my student MINAMI and RESCENE, as well as to everyone who always supports me with warmth,” she wrote. She added, “A plastic surgery clinic, which I can call my 'home away from home' in South Korea, provided the venue for this event. I am truly grateful.”
Participation is free. The event will feature an exhibition of calligraphy works she has created to date, and she plans to gift handwritten works to all participants.
Netizens who viewed the post left comments such as, “Her actions are extraordinary,” “The 'home away from home' joke is grand,” “Since it is the place that made you a new person, it really is your home,” and “Since you are visiting South Korea, I hope you meet MINAMI and WONI as well.”
Tsunade Sensei drew attention this past June when she appeared on the YouTube channel ‘Hello, I'm Woni, Nice to Meet You’ belonging to RESCENE's WONI. During the appearance, she garnered interest from South Korean fans by revealing that she had taught MINAMI since she was a child and that she had undergone plastic surgery in South Korea. Since then, she has opened a social media account and has been communicating steadily with fans as the “calligraphy teacher of RESCENE.”
