EBS 'Knowledge Channel e' will broadcast a special series covering science, society, and psychology on EBS1 from Monday, September 7, to Wednesday, September 9, at 12:40 AM.
The Brain's Concentration Principles and Modern Life
In Part 1, 'Suppress,' broadcasting on September 7, the secret of concentration will be explored. Through a 2026 experiment by a Johns Hopkins University research team, the program analyzes the brain's ability to omit information to erase distracting stimuli and process information efficiently. Following this, Part 2, 'The Best Praise of This Era,' broadcasting on September 8, examines the changing standards of perfection in the AI era and points out the paradox of modern society chasing mechanical efficiency. In Part 3 on September 9, through 'The Life of Mr. Jo, Who Rejects Anxiety and Regret,' the program conveys the wisdom of letting go of the anxiety felt when comparing oneself to others and finding the 'Joy of Missing Out (JoMO).'
