KBS Board of Directors Begins Recruitment Process for 28th President... Candidate Applications Open from the 17th
The KBS Board of Directors has officially started the recruitment process for the 28th president, with applications being accepted from September 17 to 28.
The KBS Board of Directors is officially beginning the recruitment process for the appointment of the 28th president. The board held an extraordinary meeting on September 9 to approve the recruitment announcement, and accordingly, candidate applications for the president will be accepted from September 17 to 28.
The selection process will involve narrowing down the candidates to 5–6 people through document evaluation, after which 3 finalists will be selected for interviews through policy presentations and debates held by the Presidential Candidate National Recommendation Committee. Subsequently, one person who passes the final interview by the Board of Directors will be recommended to the President for appointment.
Meanwhile, KBS President Park Jang-bum has filed an injunction requesting that the board's president selection process be suspended. Park's side argues that the decisions made by the current board, which is operating under an 8-member system, are procedurally unfair, and a hearing for this matter is scheduled for September 9.
