The MIZY Center will host 'MIZY, Meeting the World,' a festival for experiencing global music and culture, on October 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This year's theme is "A World Music Journey Colored by Autumn Leaves."

Eight teams will participate in the performance stages. The event will begin with a youth orchestra quartet and African folk music from Burkina Faso and Benin. The afternoon sessions will feature pan flute, accordion, and harp performances, as well as yodeling. The closing stage will include a multicultural children's choir and a fusion performance combining Korean, Arabic, and Egyptian music. During performance transitions, short films themed around multiculturalism will be screened, and audience participation events will be held.

At the experience booths, participants can make traditional toys and instruments from five countries—Mexico, Lithuania, Russia, Vietnam, and Spain—and try on traditional clothing. Programs for playing instruments from Egypt, Indonesia, Peru, India, Burkina Faso, and Senegal, along with a world music listening space, will also be operated. The booths and listening space will run from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

A key feature of this festival is the combination of musical performances with instrument playing and craft-making experiences, allowing attendees to hear and directly experience the cultures of various countries. In addition to watching the performances, an event to collect stamps from at least five booths, as well as YouTube subscription and photo zone authentication events, will be conducted alongside the booth experiences.
