Safe Life announced that it delivered 52 fire extinguishers to the Eumseong County Welfare Center for Persons with Disabilities and conducted a fire safety experience program with the center's users on the 22nd.
The donated items consist of 12 Z33 powder fire extinguishers and 40 Z07 vehicle fire extinguishers. In consultation with the welfare center, the extinguishers will be used to create a safe environment for the facility and its users.
The event was held in conjunction with the welfare center's fire evacuation drill. After participating in an evacuation drill simulating a fire situation, users and staff members learned how to use fire extinguishers and practiced spraying water extinguishers at an outdoor parking lot experience area.
A distinctive feature of this event was the combination of material support with hands-on experience, covering not only the provision of extinguishers but also actual operational training. “It is as important to know how to use a fire extinguisher correctly in a real situation as it is to have one available,” said Kim Jin-yeong, CEO of Safe Life. “Through this activity, we hope the welfare center users had the opportunity to use fire extinguishers themselves and become more familiar with safety.”
