YouTuber Jin-kyung Paik heads to London for childbirth... Refuting suspicions of birth tourism once again

YouTuber Jin-kyung Paik has left for the UK ahead of her childbirth this coming December. On September 14, Jin-kyung Paik personally shared the news that she is heading to the UK to become a mother, along with photos taken at the airport via her SNS.

Previously, after Jin-kyung Paik revealed her plan to give birth in the UK, she faced suspicions from some netizens regarding whether it was birth tourism to obtain citizenship for her child. In response, Jin-kyung Paik denied the allegations, explaining that her husband is British and that she also resides in London.

Furthermore, she emphasized that since the UK is not a country based on jus soli (right of the soil), citizenship is not automatically granted just because a birth occurs on British soil. Jin-kyung Paik married a British man who is three years younger in 2023 and is currently pregnant.
