Actor Ahn Jae-wook joins 'Ppu-ha Campaign' to spread blood donation culture

Actor Ahn Jae-wook has stepped forward as the twelfth participant in the ‘Ppu-ha Campaign (A Proud Day Completed by Blood Donation),’ organized by the Korean Red Cross Blood Services. Holding a message picket that promotes the value of blood donation, Ahn Jae-wook emphasized the importance of sharing life and urged citizens to participate.

Since 2016, Ahn Jae-wook has served as a promotional ambassador for the Korean Red Cross, taking the lead in relief efforts and volunteer activities at disaster sites both domestically and abroad. In particular, as a member of the Red Cross Honors Club, a group of high-value donors, his participation in this campaign is expected to serve as a positive opportunity to remind the public of the necessity of blood donation through his consistent practice of sharing.

This campaign was designed to spread the culture of blood donation between July and October, a period when the blood supply is unstable. An official from the Korean Red Cross Blood Services stated, “We are grateful for the active participation of our ambassadors in the campaign,” and added, “We plan to continue various activities with our ambassadors to create a healthy blood donation culture in the future.”
