Freestyle Battle 'Dance War Era' Featuring Dancers from 12 Universities Nationwide to be Held on the 19th

According to media reports, 'Dance War Era Season 1', hosted by the dance IP brand OATD, will be held on the 19th at the 1MILLION Dance Studio in Seongdong-gu, Seoul. This competition will be conducted in a format where dancers representing a total of 12 universities, including 8 prestigious universities with practical dance departments and 4 non-major universities, engage in 1:1 freestyle battles.

Twelve dancers of various genres, such as Hip-hop, House, Waacking, Locking, Voguing, and Krump, will participate, and the winner will be awarded a scholarship of 3 million won. Active dancers including GOF, Rocker Z, Jemin, Jin, and Neo will participate in the judging, and differentiation is sought through the introduction of the 'Room Judge' system, where the audience directly reflects their opinions in real time.

OATD CEO Young June Choe explained that this event is a project intended to go beyond simply determining a winner and to support the challenges of young creators. OATD, presented by TEAMSAME, plans to continuously discover various dance-related contents such as education and performances in the future.
