In the fifth episode of the Lifetime weekend drama 'Oh! My Guard' broadcast on the 7th, the relationship between Eom Tae-bong (Jung Yong-hwa) and Oh Hae-ra (Hong Seung-hee) began to shift as Tae-bong struggled to protect the fake world within the drama 'The Crown Prince's Bodyguard' that Hae-ra believes in. At the end of the broadcast, when news appeared on an entertainment program that Choi Gu (Ahn Suk-hwan) was in nursing care due to acute dementia, Tae-bong rushed out without even putting on his shoes properly to embrace Hae-ra, who was standing in front of the TV, to block the screen. Through narration, Tae-bong confessed, "I really don't know why I'm doing this either."

Choi Gu, whom Hae-ra believes is her father, is an actor who actually played Cha Hong-du's father in 'The Crown Prince's Bodyguard'. Confused between reality and the drama due to dementia, Choi Gu regarded Oh Hae-ra as his daughter, Cha Hong-du. Even though he is in a situation where he is deceiving a respected senior, Tae-bong condones the fake father-daughter relationship for the sake of Hae-ra, who is happy to have found her father.

When the boiler in the rooftop room broke down, Eom Tae-bong brought the father and daughter into his home to begin living together. While he was initially prickly, telling them not to touch things in the house, he gradually began to care for them like family. He even abandoned his habit of skipping breakfast to prevent swelling before filming to eat kalguksu with them and helped with Choi Gu's bathing. Hae-ra felt a different kind of fluttering excitement at these actions.

The process of keeping the secret was arduous. Tae-bong tore out magazine pages containing related articles and put them in his mouth, and when Choi Gu's works appeared on TV, he blocked the screen. When a reporter attempting to uncover the secret appeared at the filming site, he drove a filming vehicle away from the scene to divert attention.

Episode 6, which airs on the Lifetime channel at 10:50 PM on the 8th, can also be viewed on TVING, LG Channels, Viu, and Lemino.
