MBC drama 'Liar' episode 4 ends with Min Jun-ho breaking into Ok Ja-yeon's home at night

The fourth episode of the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Liar', which aired on the 7th, concluded with Min Jun-ho (Yoo Yeon-seok) breaking into the home of police officer Lee Hwa-yeong (Ok Ja-yeon). The intruder appeared at the home of Lee Hwa-yeong, who was sleeping alone, at the end of the broadcast; it was Min Jun-ho, who had previously earned the trust of those around him, and his appearance with a chilling expression heightened questions regarding his true identity.

The episode also revealed why Kang Ji-seon (Seo Hyun-jin) received a false verdict during a polygraph test. It was depicted that Kang Ji-seon lied because she had been involved in similar incidents in the past, and she judged that telling the truth could lead to her being misunderstood as someone who habitually causes problems.

While Kang Ji-seon lost her teaching position due to malicious reporting, Min Jun-ho, who had been suspected of being a criminal, had gained public trust and appeared on broadcasts as a doctor, being regarded as a victim. Later, after Kang Ji-seon posted a message using her real name on the bulletin board of the program Min Jun-ho appeared on, Min Jun-ho faced public suspicion again and even lost an opportunity to perform surgery. When her son Min Hyeon-su (Kang Ji-yong) was injured after getting caught in a fight related to her, Min Jun-ho shouted at Kang Ji-seon, "Please stop those nonsensical lies," to which Kang Ji-seon countered, "I can't stop. Because it's not a lie."

Police officer Lee Hwa-yeong warned Kang Ji-seon that Min Jun-ho is a dangerous person, while also maintaining her suspicion of him and responding according to principle. The fact that Min Jun-ho's attitude toward Lee Hwa-yeong has changed from before added further curiosity about his identity.

'Liar' is a psychological thriller in which a man and a woman make different claims regarding a single memory and clash to reveal the truth. Yoo Yeon-seok plays Min Jun-ho and Seo Hyun-jin plays Kang Ji-seon, marking their first collaboration in 10 years. The program airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM, and MBC will broadcast 'Liar Highlights' produced by G Movie on the 8th at 1:20 PM.
