Pyeongtaek Bukbu Jangaein Bokjigwan conducted a beekeeping experience as part of the 'Super Family' program targeting families of people with disabilities. This event was prepared to provide an opportunity for family members to observe and interact with the ecosystem together in nature.
Participants visited the beekeeping site directly, learning about the ecology of honeybees and spending meaningful time experiencing related activities. The welfare center stated, “This program was planned so that family bonds can be strengthened and emotional stability can be found by escaping from daily life.”
Various experiential activities for families of people with disabilities are expected to play a positive role in helping communication between members and relieving social isolation. The welfare center plans to continuously promote diverse programs that can draw family-unit participation in the future.
