Geumcheon-gu Youth Challenge Support Project Holds Mentoring Talk Concert with Professionals

Seoul Youth Center Geumcheon's Cheongchun Building held a 'Mentoring Talk Concert' on the 11th for 100 participants of the Youth Challenge Support Project. This event was organized to help job seekers share vivid information from actual job sites that are difficult to access normally and to assist in career planning.

Professionals from the public sector, advertising/PR/marketing, startups, and broadcasting/entertainment fields attended the scene to convey practical experience and required competencies for each job. Beyond simple job introductions, realistic advice from professionals was exchanged, which is evaluated to have broadened the scope of career exploration for the participating youth. Strengthening field-centered communication rather than one-way information delivery is expected to provide practical motivation to job-seeking youth.

Center Director Park Seok-jun stated, "Understanding and experience regarding job roles are essential for young people preparing for employment," and added, "We will continue to provide opportunities for youth to encounter various professional worlds and concretize their career paths." Meanwhile, Cheongchun Building is recruiting participants for the 5-week short-term course of the Youth Challenge Support Project until October 9.
