The lifestyle service platform Soomgo joined hands with singer Baekga to carry out volunteer activities to improve the living environment of descendants of independence activists. This project was conducted for a 30-year-old old house where the grandchild of Mr. Cho Wan-gu, who was active in the Provisional Government of the Republic of Korea, resides.
At the site, experts in various fields registered on Soomgo participated, continuing talent donations to improve the living environment, such as replacing wallpaper and flooring, removing mold, and installing LED lighting. Baekga also lent his strength by directly participating in demolition and cleaning work. In that the platform utilized its human resources to create social value, it is expected to receive positive evaluations as a corporate social responsibility model.
Baekga expressed his thoughts, saying, "Thanks to the experts in each field joining forces, we were able to practically change the living spaces of the elderly." Soomgo plans to continue activities that can contribute to society by utilizing the platform's expertise in the future.
